  • With over forty-five years of experience as a practicing attorney, Jan Peter Weiss is well-versed on a variety of practice areas, specializing in Florida criminal law and Federal immigration law for the past twenty-five years.

    Mr. Weiss, a Nova University alumni, has a passion for providing affordable service to communities in need. For the past twenty-five years, he has been a selfless advocate for vulnerable immigrants.

    In 2024, the Supreme Court of Florida through the Florida Pro Bono Coordinators Association recognized Mr. Weiss for his exceptional pro bono service to the community.

    Mr. Weiss is an accomplished litigator who has been certified in Federal trial practice since February 1982.

    The bottom line with Mr. Weiss and all of his lawyers is competence and compassion.

  • Andres graduated with his Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York in 2012. Andres went on to attend Barry University School of Law earning his Juris Doctor degree, graudating Cum laude.

    His first job was as a prosecutor at the State Attorney's Office for the 15th Judicial Circuit in Palm Beach County. After this, Andres joined the Jan Peter Weiss law firm and has been a zealous immigration and criminal defense lawyer and advocate since 2017.

  • Mark A. Diaz is a graduate of Penn State Law and licensed by the Maryland Bar allowing him to practice only federal immigration law with the Law Office of Jan P. Weiss.

    Mark began his career in immigration law at Penn State Law’s Center for Immigrants’ Rights Clinic.

    Practice areas include: removal defense, family petitions, humanitarian based relief, and the intersection between criminal and immigration law.

  • Rebecca Martinez was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She graduated from the Inter American University of Puerto Rico with a Magna Cum Laude Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. She then received her Juris Doctor from the Pontifical University of Puerto Rico Law School.

    After dedicating most of her career to family and administrative law in Puerto Rico she relocated to Florida to pursue her dream to practice immigration law.
